Hey friend ๐งก
Iโve been staring at this newsletter draft for much too long. Iโve written, rewritten, scrapped, and restarted more times than I care to admit. Should it be lighthearted? More reflective? Am I saying too much? Not enough? More practical? Less personal? And so the overthinking goes onโฆ
If youโve ever done this - agonised over a message, rewritten an email five times, hesitated to hit โsendโ - youโre not alone. Overthinking has a way of sneaking in, even when we donโt notice. And the longer we stay stuck, the harder it gets to move forward.
So, how did I get unstuck? I stopped second-guessing and just started writing - about overthinking itself.
This weekโs small step is a simple way to stop overthinking in its tracks and take action instead.
I hope it helps you, as it just did for me. Thank you, as always, for being here.

๐ This weekโs small step: Press send and see
If youโre stuck in overthinking, take the leap - press send, make the call, choose the option. Instead of endlessly tweaking, try this: Hit send, then step away. Let it exist in the world and trust that itโs good enough.
๐ก Reframe the fear: If the worst that happens is โsomeone doesnโt respondโ or โI notice a typo later,โ is it really that bad?
๐ฏ Try it today: Next time you catch yourself overthinking a message, email, or decision - hit send and try to move on.

๐ WorryTree v5 is coming soon!
If I overthink writing this newsletter, you can imagine how much thought goes into planning new tools for WorryTree! That said, Iโm so excited that after months of overthinking and productive planning, testing has finally started on the next version of WorryTree. There are some big changes on their way and Iโm really pleased with how itโs working and looking so far. Iโll share more updates in the next few newsletters - watch this space!
