Hey friend 🧡
Last week I shared how WorryTree started - not as a grand plan, but as something I built in a moment of overwhelm because I couldn’t find what I needed.
What I needed back then isn’t so different from what most of us still need now:
✅ A way to stop spiralling.
✅ A way to get clarity.
✅ A way to feel just a little more in control of our own mind.
So today, I’m starting something new for the next four weeks - a short weekly series called The Quiet Reset. ✨
Each week, I’ll send you something small but useful. A reframe. A tool. A reminder that it doesn’t have to be this noisy inside your head.
We’re also getting ready to share a new version of our WorryTree app - one that’s clearer, simpler and shaped by everything I’ve learned from the hundreds of thousands of overthinkers who’ve used WorryTree over the past few years. (More on that next week, including the new name 👀)
But before any of that, we begin here, today - with a quiet reset.
Because the first step isn’t downloading another app. It’s noticing what your brain actually needs.
If you’ve been stuck in your head lately, spinning in circles and craving some breathing space - stay with me.
And if this email landed with you, a small ask: Give it a like or share it with someone who might need it too. You never know who else is craving a quiet reset today.
Best wishes,
Louise x
🛠 This week’s small step…
If your mind feels messy today, try this:
Name what you’re feeling. Just one word.
Not a full story. Not an explanation. Just a quiet check-in.
Are you anxious? Frustrated? Numb? Curious? Tired? Hopeful?
There’s no right answer - only honesty.
Then gently ask yourself:
👉 What do I need right now?
A pause? A snack? A stretch?
To write something down? To cry? To breathe?
You don’t need to fix everything today.
But this tiny moment of awareness?
That’s how you start to feel more grounded.
This is the quiet reset.
One word. One need. One next step.
🧡 Finally: If you’re struggling, please don’t struggle alone.
Know that asking for help is a sign of strength not of weakness. Contact someone you can trust like your Doctor, a friend or a relative, or text SHOUT to 85258 (UK) to start a conversation with a crisis support volunteer.
Perfect x
Oh how lovely and simple which is what I need so much x When exhausted by anxiety, the advice is often as overwhelming in itself, and just makes me feel it will be impossible to try so this makes so much sense and makes me feel able to try it without added stress x
