❄️ The power of living your values
This week: Explore what’s most important to you and take a small action to honour it
Your beliefs become your thoughts, Your thoughts become your words, Your words become your actions, Your actions become your habits, Your habits become your values, Your values become your destiny. Gandhi.
❄️ Hello friend,
As Gandhi wisely said, your values shape your future. This week, we’ll explore how aligning your actions with your core values can help you live more intentionally and find greater purpose.
It’s easy to get caught up in the hustle of daily life, but when we take the time to reflect on what truly matters to us, we can create more meaning, clarity, and direction in everything we do. By identifying and acting on your core values, you can start living a more fulfilling life - one that’s guided by purpose and not by stress or distractions.
To get started, take a moment today to reflect on what truly matters to you. Is it kindness, adventure, connection, or creativity? Spend a few moments thinking about these and how you can start living in alignment with them.
In this week’s Seeking Calm, we’ve got some practical tools and resources to help you uncover your values and start making intentional choices that support the life you want to create. Plus, we’ll guide you through one small step you can take today to start living more in line with your values, no matter where you are in your journey.
As always, we’re here to support you in making small but impactful changes that bring more calm and balance to your life.
And before we get started, I’d like to ask you a quick question about this newsletter now we’re a few months in to this format. I’d love for you to respond to the poll below, thank you in advance!

One small step to transform your day
This is where each fortnight we’ll share one small step you can take today that will move you closer to living more in the moment and worrying less.
🫶 Align with your values
Actionable step: Take a few minutes today to identify what matters most to you and plan one small action that reflects those values.
Here’s how to get started:
✨ Reflect on your core values: Reflect on the values that matter most to you – like family, creativity, or kindness. What brings you a sense of purpose and meaning? You can use a values list like this one to choose from.
📝 Choose three values: Pick three values that resonate with you most. These could be creativity, connection, or health. Make sure they reflect what truly matters to you.
🎯 Pick one small action: Choose a simple way to honour one of your values in the next few days. If connection is important, plan a coffee with a friend. If health is a priority, schedule time for a walk or meal prep.
🌟 Keep it visible: Write down your value-focused action and keep it visible to remind yourself daily. Whether it’s on a sticky note, your phone, or your journal, seeing it often will help reinforce your commitment.
🎁 Treat it as self-care: Aligning your actions with your values isn’t just productive; it’s a way to live with intention and feel more grounded in your everyday life.
Why not take a moment now? What’s one value you’d like to focus on this week, and what’s one small action you can take to honour it? Write it down, and see how it shifts your mindset!
